Step Rules, Limits & Inventory
Fine-tune item restrictions, repeated product policies, and out-of-stock safety behaviors.
In the Rules tab of your Box Bundle editor, you have granular control over shopper selection behavior, repeated item policies, and how sold-out components are presented.

Core Rule Settings
- Repeated Items Policy:
allowRepeatedItems: trueallows customers to choose multiple units of the same product in a single box (e.g. 3 of Flavor A).- When set to
false, customers must choose distinct products for every slot.
- Repeated Variants Policy: Control whether shoppers can select the same variant twice or must pick different sizes/colors.
- Repeated Bundle Policy:
- Discount Every Bundle: If a customer purchases 2 complete boxes, both receive the configured discount.
- Discount First Only: Apply the promotional price only to the first box, charging regular rates for subsequent boxes.
- Out of Stock Products:
- Show as Unavailable: Displays the sold-out item with a muted thumbnail and 'Out of Stock' badge so customers know it exists.
- Hide from Customer Preview: Automatically filters out sold-out items so customers only see products ready for immediate fulfillment.
